The Motor Gallery was built from a gap we saw in the market.
On one end, there are small operators dealing in collectible performance, European and modern classic vehicles — often passionate and knowledgeable, but limited by scale, with restricted stock and buying power.
On the other, there are large dealerships and groups moving high volumes, where cars become numbers and the level of care, attention, and understanding required for this type of stock is often lost.
We saw the gap between the two.
Buyers looking for cars of this calibre don't want a transactional experience, and they don't want a limited selection either. They want access to the right cars — and confidence they're dealing with people who understand what they're buying.
The Motor Gallery was created to sit in that space.
Behind TMG sits a wholesale buying arm that transacts thousands of vehicles annually across Australia. From that, only a small number are selected for our retail division.
We don't carry everything we buy. We keep the cars we would actually stand behind — the right condition, the right specification, and the right overall quality — and move the rest through wholesale.
We operate with the reach of a large business, transacting close to $100 million annually, while remaining deliberate in what we offer.
